Jim Ghielmetti founded Signature homes in 1983, and now serves as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. With over 45 years of experience building homes in the Bay Area, Ghielmetti is the guiding force that has led Signature to focus on creating quality single-family homes in exceptionally livable suburban communities.  Over the years, he has watched housing styles change, and has often been on the forefront of those changes – including using greener materials, sourcing products and materials more locally, and building more energy-efficient homes. As the son of a carpenter, Jim grew up in the building business, and he knows that reputation is important. His longtime commitment to design, quality construction, and customer service sets Signature apart, and has earned this small, locally owned company a reputation he is proud of.

Industry veteran Gary Galindo joined Signature Homes as the firm’s new president in March 2014 to spearhead the company’s expansion and growth throughout Northern California without ever losing sight of our guiding principle of creating communities that bring families and neighbors together.  His extensive background in the building industry includes more than 20 years as a respected manager with a successful history of leading real estate and construction-related companies. His areas of expertise include division management, project development, land acquisition and divestiture, asset and financial management, entitlement, investor relations, fiscal analysis, cost containment, contract negotiation, construction management and personnel management. Before coming to Signature Homes, Gary started the Northern California Division of Van Daele Homes in San Ramon; served as President of both the Sacramento and Northern California divisions of William Lyon Homes; and held a variety of top-level positions with Taylor Woodrow Homes and Ryland Homes. He holds a Master of Business Administration, Finance and General Management from Saint Mary’s College and a Bachelor of Arts, in Urban and Rural Planning from California State University, Chico.

Signature Homes is growing, and Steve Miller is committed to planning that growth in a smart way that holds true to the company’s core values. That means acquiring properties in locations that will one day become exceptional neighborhoods that add value to their surrounding communities. Steve brings over 17 years of experience in the real estate industry, with expertise in land acquisition, contract negotiations, forward planning and financial analysis. Prior to joining Signature Homes, he served as Vice President Asset Manager at Wells Fargo Bank in San Francisco. Steve earned a Jurist Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.

At Signature Homes, sales and marketing is about more than just selling homes. It’s about creating community and helping families find and build the home of their dreams. Juliann Cretsinger has been doing just that since she joined Signature Homes in 2007 as a sales associate and quickly established herself as a top-selling agent. She has won numerous industry award, including a “Volume Award Winner” at the Building Industry Association’s Excellence Awards Show, and was integral in the successful sales and marketing of Signature’s Ruby Hill master planned community in Pleasanton. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Juliann oversees sales associates at all of our communities, training and guiding them in the latest sales methods, and ensures that each sale closes effectively. She also makes sure that our sales and marketing staff never lose sight of Signature’s commitment to making the new home buying experience a positive one. In addition, Juliann manages the marketing and advertising for all communities and the overall brand of Signature Homes. Juliann holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and a Broker’s License.
